AIA Singapore Adopt Advanced E-Signature – ACMO – E Sign
AIA Singapore is an insurance provider for both individuals and businesses, AIA strives to make a significant, positive impact on their customers and communities across Asia with the fundamental belief that helping to create a healthier Asia is one of the most important and valuable things they can do for their community, today and in the future.
Milton Thomas, Head of Digitalisation and Analytics for client distribution in AIA Singapore, shares his experience of using Tungsten Automation, formerly Kofax to switch to E-Signature:
In 2012, we switched from wet signature to electronic signature with Tungsten Automation, formerly Kofax, as part of the development of our interactive point-of-sales system for the agency force. We have engaged Tungsten Automation, formerly Kofax to help us deploy eSignature capabilities for our customers across the region. Sign with SingPass is a service that’s part of the national digital identity Smart Nation strategic national project, which aims to build a trusted digital identity ecosystem for citizens, public agencies, and private sector companies.
The current Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted that AIA needs to be better prepared in times of crisis. With Covid and the circuit breakers implemented in Singapore, agents could no longer meet customers face-to-face, so we had to think out of the box.
While business was affected due to the pandemic, we formed a task force to develop AIA’s long-term sustainable solution. We decided that the best way forward to stay ahead of the competition is to leverage our relationship with Tungsten Automation, formerly Kofax and GovTech. We brought them together to brainstorm various strategies and approaches to develop acustomer-friendly solution for our customers.
